Below you can find a first overview of some of our collections. This overview will continue to grow in the future.

Cartography
The RMCA has in addition to its map and atlas collection a small reference library related to the history of cartography.

Official publications
The former Ministry of Colonies published numerous laws and decrees that dealt with a variety of administrative, economic, political and social aspects of the governance in the colonies. A selection can be found here.

Project 'Ontdekkingen. Belgisch-Congolese bibliotheken in Vlaanderen'
The RMCA is a partner in the two-year long project 'Ontdekkingen. Belgisch-Congolese bibliotheken in Vlaanderen', led by KADOC, the Documentation and Research Centre for Religion, Culture and Society. The aim of the project is to map colonial and missionary libraries as well as to determine the wishes and needs of Congolese communities in Congo and the diaspora.

The RMCA will in first instance list all periodicals concerning religion and missionary work in its database. A preliminary selection can already be found here.
